2013 Girls Basketball Teams: 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th

The LADY SHOOTING STARS/Adidas BASKETBALL ORGANIZATION - is a 501,3c, non-profit, community-based youth sports organization whose primary objective is to develop leadership, sportsmanship and educational excellence in our youths. We accomplish this objective through sporting events that instill Teamwork, Growth and Development.

We are just so proud of our ladies for their hard work and efforts. Year (2012) we earned AAU D1 National Bids for our 10u, & 16u Teams. Great Job, well done ladies! We also competed in various National Showcase tournaments (while playing in the GOLD Brackets) throughout the entire United States and placed no lower than 2nd or 3rd. We had 3 young ladies recruited in the ESPN top twenty and overall 7 College Scholarships awarded in 2011-2012. These young ladies have worked extremely hard for this great achievement…

This year 2013, we will continue new Endeavors of filling 3-4 Elite Travel Showcase Teams from throughout the state of Maryland along with current AAU Teams. Players and their Parents will be holding Fundraising Activities, Tournaments and Camps to help defray costs for basketball registration, tournament fees, lodging and travel expenses to include worn out basketball equipment. These endeavors are great community outreach activities for some of our girls who come from low-income families/father or mother away in the military and can’t afford to pay basketball team expenses. We are asking for your support!!

Any of our team leaders would be more than happy to speak with you personally about the organization, currently we are averaging about 95% of our Juniors & Seniors receiving College Scholarships, We do appreciate your consideration. This year (2013) we are more determined to compete at the highest levels, with a strong goal to work hard and Win!
